I trained under Coaches Shivang and Nishank Mishra when I was playing Tennis professionally. They are both meticulous, hard working and dedicated coaches and truly care for their players. They were able to help me fine tune some important aspects (Serves, Forehands, Returns, Volleys, Fitness and Tactical awareness) in my game and that really helped me in winning more matches and helped my rankings go up as well. Aside from being great coaches they are very friendly and humble people. We had lots of fun in our time training with each other and I do miss our soccer matches 😉

Both Shivang and Nishank Mishra are very disciplined, hard working coaches and have great hunger to build top players who play tennis professionally. I trained with them starting in 2018 through till 2020 and my experience with them was great and they were able to help me a lot with the Tactical and Mental Aspect of my game which helped me in gaining back my ATP Ranking. Aside from being good coaches they are amazing people by heart. They are also very helpful and will go out of the way to help their players out.

My tennis journey with Coach Shivang and Coach Nishank started in 2018 when i was just an 11 year old kid. Both of them saw potential in me and built my game from the ground up. I have never seen 2 coaches so dedicated towards the game. They were quickly able to analyse my weak spots and worked on each of them till it reached a point where mistakes became inexistent. They believe in process oriented work and patience, and it is the joint effort put in by all 3 of us which has led to the clean and reliable game I have today. Be it the endless serve sessions with Nishank sir, or innumerous forehand drills with Shivang sir, both of them work in perfect harmony which helped bring the best out of me. They also sat down and analysed each match performance, and worked on the errors made by me. I was also not the fittest kid out there, so recently both have concentrated greatly on my fitness and endurance which has helped my game reach new heights. They also constantly helped with the tactical and mental part of the game, which i believe is an equally essential part. The perseverance and hardwork over the past 5 years is now bearing fruit. I reached my first ITF Juniors Final at J60 Kathmandu in the week of 6 Jan, 2023. My rank has gone up from 1960 to 753 with my performance this past month. Over the years, I also won the doubles U-14 Indian Nationals, had a national U-14 rank of 51, and a national U-12 rank of 17. I can't be thankful enough to both for all the work they've put in, and it surely wouldn't have been possible without them.

I have trained with Coach Shivang since 2014 and he has been the most influential coach I have worked with. He has a unique ability to quickly assess your game and analyze the gaps in your strokes. He then sets clear goals on how to develop these aspects through intense training sessions composed of hand-fed drills, match-play scenarios, and a detailed fitness plan. I can personally attest to this with the way he developed my backhand and serve over the years. His ability to mold his coaching methods to the player’s game style and way of learning is amazing, and is the reason why I remember his technical advice years later. Above all, he teaches his players how to truly compete. He has an ability to assess your match play at tournaments and break down what needs to be done in various situations. This is something I learnt firsthand when we won the 2017 Men’s Open Doubles Title. The culmination of all his teachings played a huge role in my title wins at the STA U16 & U18 Spex Tournaments (along with the No 1 ranking), picking up points at the J3 ITF tournament in Kuching, Malaysia, winning the 2018 SEASAC tournament and being my high school’s MVP. However, for me, Coach Shivang is always a lot more than just my coach. He is like an older brother figure, and that’s what makes his coaching special: he always looks out for his players. Whether it is a 2 hour session of drills or a Subway meal after a match, there is so much to learn from him and you know that you will always have his support. All in all, there is no better person and coach to train with than Coach Shivang.

It’s been several years since Shivang coached me, but much of what he taught me has stayed over the years. He is able to break down technique into simple steps and adjusts to each player’s style. His passion for tennis and teaching others is evident in the way that he coaches and he has a great eye to analyze and communicate the nuances of tennis technique to all ages.

I worked with Coach Shivang in my summers between college. He worked very hard with me and listened carefully to what I needed. He was also a great travel coach and I saw improvement in my game and mind while traveling on tour with him. He has effective tactical knowledge of drills that will address individual points of a player’s game. Lastly he has passion, drive, and a love for the sport which can be felt by his students.

My time with Coach Shivang has been a truly amazing experience. We started working together in 2016, when my movement wasn’t very good, my forehand had visible flaws, and my serve lacked the power and consistency it needed. 7 years on, my game is almost unrecognizable from what it was in 2016. Having been a former high ranking professional tennis player, Coach Shivang gave me great technical advice and fitness plans to follow. His guidance has enabled me to reach high rankings in Singapore and get a tennis scholarship from one of the top colleges in the US. More than the tennis, however, I have forged a great friendship with Coach Shivang over the last few years. At this point, I no longer see him as just my Coach but also one of my closest friends. It has made our time working together so much more enjoyable. I can confidently say he has made my tennis experience better than I could’ve imagined.

I’ve worked with Coach Shivang since 2016 and he has definitely helped me take my tennis to the next level. With a coach, trust is always needed, and over the years we have built this, ensuring that I am able to get the most from every session. I’ve been fortunate to have taken both group and private lessons from Coach, allowing me to work on both the physical and technical aspects of my game, and his feedback is very specific and beneficial in the long run. As a result, I was able to obtain strong results nationally by winning the STA Intermediate and Advanced tournaments, and I can safely say that Coach Shivang’s guidance has been a driving force behind this.

I started working with Coach Shivang in 2018 where I was a very amateur player, ambitious to succeed in the sport but unsure of how. Coach Shivang saw potential in me and gave me a pathway to success through working on my fundamentals and tennis-specific techniques while also giving me fitness plans to improve myself physically so that I could intensify my strengths and become a better mover on court. As a result, Coach Shivang helped me create a winning gamestyle that immensely improved my subpar results from 2021 onwards where I was able to Win the Intermediate Singles Tournament, U18 Singapore National Singles Tournament, and also reach a World Junior ITF Ranking of 1100. Coach Shivang also took it upon himself to better myself not just as a singles player, but a doubles player simultaneously. We were able to win the Singapore Open Doubles Tournament as a coach-student pairing which made me ecstatic and strengthened our relationship even further. At the end of the day, Coach Shivang’s guidance and support the last 4 years have been the key to my continued success, achievements and results and he will always be a crucial part of my life.

I started working with Coach Shivang when I was just eleven years old. At the time I was just a kid wanting to play tennis for fun. Coach Shivang however with his judgement and expertise saw a competitive player who could be a strong player in the future. Our journey began on that day and since then we have achieved quality, results and rankings making waves in junior tennis. However, beyond all the tennis the relationship I have formed with Coach Shivang is one I will always remember. I always like to say he is not only a remarkable coach but also a remarkable person.

Coach Shivang is one of the most fun tennis coaches. Ever since I have been taught by him, my tennis has improved at a rapid rate and all my friends say that I have improved a lot. Because of coach Shivang I have managed to go from rank 100 to 7 in the Under 12 Singles Rankings and also won my First National SPEX Title in June 2023. I personally think that all his lessons are enjoyable and fun and every time I leave the court I leave with a smile on my face. Even though he is fun he can be strict sometimes on things that he wants you to improve on like forehand, serve, etc. Overall Coach Shivang is a very good coach and he always cares for his students.
